I had these symptoms during my last pregnancy. It got so bad I had to go to the doctor as I felt like my lady bits were twice the size literally.
I was told I had a bad case of vaginal varicosities These are like haemorroids but in the vaginal and they are caused by the pressure of your growing uterus on your veins in your perineum, this causing swollen veins. They are usually not serious but may cause aching and soreness, and are really uncomfortable
The doctor said mine were so bad she would like a student doctor to see. UMMMM no thanks! There really was nothing I could do but I found putting a chilled (not frozen...ouch )face cloth of my bits releaving them greatly.
Unfortunately there is no medication you can take..I asked if I could use anusol as it would at least help shrink them, she advised against it, as the cream could thin the skin.
I minimized lifting my 14 month old as the strain made it worse...I also became obsessed about not getting constipated as I was not going to strain and put more pressure on my bits...as that was agony.
The good news is this condition completly disappears as you give birth, as the babies head cuts of the blood supply to them...so you get your baby and say good by to the veins!
I hope this is not what you have...try and rest!
