You know those ads that scroll around the site for
places like Comet, Mothercare and Next, well did you know that there
were over 70 of them? Well there are! They're under "Miscellaneous" on
the menu bar, then "Shopping", then "Affilates Shopping".
These sites will pay a small commission on purchases made via Madmums.
Madmums is not a commercial website and so we need to
raise money each month to cover costs. You'll see from the Donations
Meter on the left hand side that we have made just £3.58 this month to
date from these ads, which isn't very much really is it...
So, here are 2 lists of our affiliates. 1 in
alphabetical order, and 1 split by category to help you find what you
are looking for!
Each name is a link, so you can click straight to the shop.
Clicking on a link to do your shopping costs you nothing, but means a great deal for the site. So if you are about to do your Christmas shopping from somewhere like Toys r us or The Early Learning Centre or one of the many stores below, please do take the time to follow the link from Madmums.
Thank you.
ps If you click on a name and the link doesn't work, please PM me.

eBay?
Let me see... if I want to bid on something, using this link you get a commision??
We get a little bit, Ebay is only pennies but all those pennies add up, we get quite a bit though if someone signs up for a new account and then that account becomes active (ie they purchase something) it's around £5-7 then but does not happen very often in fact it's not happened for well over a year
No one is asking or expecting people to go shopping for the sake of it, really we are not, it's just a reminder that we do not get paid for having these advertisements on the site, contra to popular believe, we only get a commission if someone purchases something by going via Madmums, in other words clicking on the banner.
We have had members that will see a banner/advertisement for example and rather than click it, will type the name of the company in their Google toolbar, as you can imagine this is mind numbingly frustrating. Remember some of the commissions paid on some items can be enough to keep Madmums running for a week or more.
Thank you for reading and thank you to Dizie for compiling the list.
