Me again...I really do have to learn to keep my mush shut!

Remembered that my tetanus and polio ran out end of august..so me being me rang the docs to see if I needed it...sooooo they asked me to come in at half 3...unlucky doing the school run...erm..tomorrow then..cant am up the hospital more or less all day tomorrow..hmm..how about half 11 then today...ahh pants yes I can come down for that one..ooo i see you are booked in for your flu jab on wednesday you can have that done today instead..oh how lucky am I lol.

So sharon had isla for me..and off I trundled..saw the nurse (same one who was there for when I found my lump)..hmmm not seen you before how long have you been registered with us...erm..5 years and I saw you last year..oh yes, you had a lump didnt you..ooo your hair looks nice did you have it cut short...erm nope i had chemo and it all fell out..oh right...ah so I see (as she looks at the screen)

So she gave me the flu jab...and then offered me the pneumawotzit one..the new one that babies are getting...or my tetanus..now she had the tetanus one in her hand..and she had nothing in her other hand..so I went with the non-needle hand lol.  She wanted to use both arms and I said she couldnt..she asked why and told her about having no lymph nodes that side..so off she scooted to ask if she can give me more than one jab in the same arm...then came back and stuck me with the pneumowotzit one...oooooooo that one smarts lots..so full sympathy with all babies!

She said I have to come back next week to get my tetanus as they dont want to overload my system in one go..plus shed used my arm up (i know you can have tetanus in your leg, but wasnt going to volunteer for it lol).

So I was big and brave, didnt cry..but did hide behind my tissues and said oooooooch that smarts.

She had a look at my burned bit..and has given me some burns dressings stuff for it..and to come back next week (cos im still cooking til next week) just to make sure its not infected etc.  Her face was a picture..oooooo bloody hell, how did you do that...erm I didnt..well how did you get it...erm..you lot did it to me..its from radiotherapy..ooo looks sore..ill get you some dressings for it.

Looks sore...looks sore...it bleeding well is sore lol.

So im a big brave girl...she did want to know how I knew my jabs had ran out..and I said cos im that terrified of needles I always know when i have to have them again cos Ive had years of worrying about having it done lol.

lol youll get the pneumowotzit one as weeeeelll...lol.

They werent overly concerned about the tetanus one..said i can let that one slide for a bit...well til next week lol.

They wanted me to have the flu and the pneumonia one simply cos my system isnt fully up to speed yet and a cold will still hammer me, yeah i know colds hammer all of us..but for the next 5 ish months i wont have a full blown immune system back yet....but at least i wont have to have them next year wooohoo
