I always knew Ethan (7) took after his dad, but he really is driving me mad. He just has no memory, whatsoever.

They're supposed to take on a bit more responsibility now they're in year 3, so the school don't tell us mere parents so much about what's going on so that the kids have to. At least, that's the plan...

He hasn't brought his outdoor PE kit home since term started, so I dread to think what kind of a state that's in, as he 'forgets' it.

He 'forgot' what day he had outdoor PE for ages, so for the first week of term he had to take it in every single day as he couldn't tell me when he needed it. (not a problem now as he hasn't brought the poxy thing home even though they aren't supposed to leave anything in school.)

He now has no coats at home, because he 'forgets' to bring them home from school.

Last week, he went to school with his swimming kit, which he asked his dad to carry, then my husband walked home still carrying the thing as both of them had forgotten about it! I had to ask Mike why he still had it!

Today though, he surpassed himself. I have figured out that he has swimming on a monday, so needs his kit, which he had, as I put it in his bag myself while he was looking. He managed to walk all the way to the pool (getting wet as he'd forgotten to put on his coat) and had FORGOTTEN TO TAKE HIS BL**DY SWIMMING KIT! It was in his bag! He had it! He knew they were going swimming, where else did he think they were walking to? Why did everyone else have theirs?

AAAAAARRRGH!

Tsena - he's been taking omega 3 supplements for a couple of years! I dread to think what he'd be like without it!

I'm laughing, but with my daft preggy brain at the moment I'm not much better.  I went to Morrisons yesterday, got a full trolley of shopping, went through the checkout and realised I didn't have my bag or purse.  (And it's not the first time I've done that)

PMSL, and my dh says I have no brain! lol It's a typical bloke thing, I sent ds2 to do something the other day, he came back forgetting what I'd asked him to do.  Unfortunately they never grow out of it, and the more you do for them the worse it gets!
