Well done everyone! Glad you're doing so well with this!

5ish months on we're still having set backs, some days he's really dry and others he can have up to 6 or 7 accideants! He's still not really asking to use his potty or the loo, unless he needs a poo (!) and I'm worried he's gonna be wet all day at preschool! Do you think westarted too soon, before he was ready? I feel like i'm up against a brick wall! He's in cloth training pants, not disposables, which are a little absorbant, but I daren't put him in normal pants yet coz I'm washing enough as it is and he doesn't have that many trousers!

My girls have been potty trained in the day since the beginning of the year although we still have accidents. They still have a nappy to bed. I think they have done well though they are not even 3 yet!

Yay well done James :o)

Helen- sometimes going back and forth to nappies and pants confuses them even more and sets them back. If you able to keep up witht he added laundry then I would keep him as he is, use reward charts and stickers to try and encourage him to try. Joshua was dry all night for a while then suddenly wet again, every night and most nights he didnt even wake or seem bothered. I was tempted to put him back in pull ups thinking he wasn't ready but it really upset him and he begged me not to. I just bought few extra sheets, and recently we started a sticker chart.. so far we have 3 out of 4 stickers woohoo lolol I dont know if it will last, Im still putting him on the toilet during the night but Im just going with what he is comfortable with. Does Ben get upset with being wet? Maybe try leaving him soiled for an extra few minutes so he realises the uncomfortableness of it. If the training pants absorb the wee he might not realise he is wet. Hope he picks it up soon chick xxxxx

Chris, he's not even bothered when he's wet! The only way I know is when I get him to go on the potty and his pants are wet!! Thanks anyway for the advice. We've been using stickers for poos so maybe we should try them for wees as well.

Glad everyone els is doing brill! Gives me hope lol
