Personally, I think that sounds very expensive. I've had acupuncture for back, hip and leg issues as part of a chiropractict treatment. For pure acupucture, it would cost £15 per session.
I'd be inclined to look into other practitioners and that does sound very steep.
It would also be worthwhile looking into what herbs he's offering as there was some debate on this in the news a few years ago about some disreputable herbalists promising the world to couples ttc and the stuff they were prescribing being dangerous to women ttc.
Just my opinion, but I'd do a bit more research first.
