The Mclaren def folds down small. When i first started to drive i had a Rover Metro which is tiny. It fit in that so you can see they are ideal if you need to save space. xx

I had a tandem and loved it. It was easy to steer around narrow aisles and great for travelling.  It survived numerous long haul flights and being battered in the hold.  I was well impressed.

I found side by sides cumbersome-but it's personal choice really.

Mine is probably obselete now. It was a Mothercare Tandem and it came with a huge basket, waterproof shield, detachable hoods and cost around 170 squid.

My sister has just purchased a tandem, but can't remember the details.  I'll ask her about hers if you like?

i met a woman in strathy park with her twins (and her wee boy)
she had one of those one on top of the other jobs and it was nice. had 2
wheels at the back and one wheel at the front (didn't notice the make)
she said it was east to use and get round the shops with.
she was giving the babies their bottles at the time when i was speaking
to her and she made it look so easy.

i think there is so much choice now a days (says old me !!)
