LOL...yes I got your card and its lovely by the way.

The donations were a great idea..and end of the day you will have helped thousands of women in one way or another with your donations.

However...the bit in my mind that is the most important isnt donations to the cause...its the fact that youve been there with me every step of the way.

Youve all been devastated by the diagnosis, youve cyber held my hand through the treatments..youve joked around with me when ive needed it. Youve not judged, hidden away or avoided it..youve all faced it head on with me...not that youve had a choice!

If you think about it...you lot are now more 'in the know' about breast cancer than majority of women out there.  Your not scared to ask questions..or concerns if any of you find a lump or bump that wasnt there...and now...youve all had the guts to go see the doc to find out whats what..instead of not facing it.

So you guys have helped me through all this..itll never go away, it will come back, just a question of time now..but they threw everything at me...plus youve all managed to help yourselves at the same time.  IF any of you are ever in the same position (and I hope to god you never are), at least you know what can be done..and its not all the big scary unknown.

Steph you've started me off blubbing again now.

You are right though, I now check breasts for lumps and bumps all the time and I have told all my friends to. I have also talked friends into going to see the gp about any lumps of bumps they find. Thankfully they have all turned out to be innocent but all have thanked me for convincing them to go and put their mind at rest.

I know that I used to check my boobies when I remembered to but now I do it every single month.

Steph, you are one in a million and so strong, brave and thoughtful, xxx.
