I started giving it to eds quite early. You have to be careful under 1 year due to the salt content though.

Eds loved it, and still does. In fact he went a whole week once of having marmite on toast for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I remember getting it my ounty weaning pack with Chloe and Michael so it must be suitable from when you start weaning with finger foods.

Mmmmmm, marmite...

I didn't give Taylor marmite till he was nearly 3.. not because of anything thats in it, but i thought the ex didn't like it so i never bought it, turns out he did so i got some and Taylor had a munch and loves it..

Sophie hasn't had it yet and she is 18 months.. might try her with some later today!!!!

Being preganant for the first time I am not sure, but spoke to my Mum and it was given to me early on and I love it!  The website for Marmite suggests 1 year but I am sure I had it before then.  It is quite high in salt so maybe thats why?  See the marmite website/nutrition/salt for more info.

I am miserable as the midwife told me to cut back last week as I have a high/normal blood pressure and don't eat that much salt from other sources....what can I eat for brekkie now?!?!?

Aww dont give your poor child that stuff, its awful!

We're not marmite lovers in this house, none of us like it at all.

She will be ok to have small amounts now, but spread it thinly.
