Yay.... dp's off for a night at the hospital tomorrow... i'm so looking forward to getting a big bag of maltesers and watching dirty dancing or something similar before i have to pick him up wednesday......

At least one of us will get a good nights sleep and he will be given 4 chances to sleep during the next day too!! Cheeky sod.... he's so lucky to be a man.

Just hope he doesn't do or say anything embarrasing overnight whilst the camera is rolling......

what would you all do with a night at home whilst the kids are asleep.....

DH goes away a fair amount anyway.

I enjoy having full control over the remote and being able to chat on MM's all night if I want. I normally treat myself to a nice bottle of wine and have a glass with a yummy dinner I havent got to cook. Normally a tesco finest meal. I always promise myself an early night and end up reading until 3am then not sleeping anyway as DH is away.

Enjoy! I hope Chris is ok.

When i was with my ex he used to go away nearly every fri-sun...

I used to hate it.. was 200 miles away from my family, and i only really had baby Taylor to keep me company..

After a while of feeling sorry for myself i started having a movie night, lots of choc, couple bottles of beer, loads of popcorn.. loved it!! I also went to the pub, the ex's mum would babysit for a couple of hours and the pub was 3 doors down from me..

lucky for me, Simon doesn't go away like the ex did.. infact, in over 2 years of us being together, we have spent 1 night apart..

Keith doesn't do the going away I do!!  I never sleep properly in hotel rooms as every little noise wakes me up.  I have a little routine in the hotel room to try and make it a bit more like home, I unpack and have a cup of tea.  I always have a bath before bed as the baths are normally huge and I don't have to worry about the hot water.  I normally read and watch tv in bed and go to sleep after phoning Keith for the 20th time.

Sorry all i forgot in a moment of madness to put that he's going in to a sleep clinic as he's so tired and it doesn't take much to get him to sleep..... a car journey etc.....

He's also stopped breathing a couple of times so it's to rule out sleep apnoea too.... hopefully it was just his big mouth thats been giving him problems!

Will write a list of all i want to do, then prob do none of it as i'll end up chatting on here! lol........

The same as most nights!  Nothing! lol  Dh still isn't home at half nine again.  We will end up having maybe half an hour chat when he gets home, then sleep!  (or whatever) Just make sure you enjoy the space you have in bed! lol I would.
