well Ive been up since stupid o'clock courtesy of my lovely son, anyhoo, Im going to Lloyds phamacy today to get a diabetes test done.  I really hope the reception I get is better than the one I got yesterday

Im not gonna let this go cos I know there summat not right about it, I will go and see the other GP today if I have to.  Will let you know how I get on xxxx

Right have been and had the test done, the fasting bit nearly killed me rofl!!  The good news is that Im not diabetic - although I did get the hypoglycemia confirmed.  I again asked if I should purchase a bm machine to monitor this myself and the very kind lady said that it would be a good idea, however, as Im not an insulin-dependant diabetic, I would have to pay for my own test sticks, which at around £25 for 50, isnt cheap.  I have decided against that and have opted for glucose tablets instead!!  She did say that I should go back to my doctor to get a review of my medication as it could be that that is doing it.  All in all, she was lovely and really explained things, and best of all it was all FREE!!

I will go back to the GP, when Ive eventually calmed down!!!
