Well its back! just over 2 and half months post injections the pain is back and looking set to stay. My next injections are under a month away so not too long to wait but its tough.

Its amazing how quickly you get used to being relatively pain free. The last 2 months have been amazing, being able to enjoy the wedding and honeymoon and basically behave normally. Over the past few days the pain has been getting steadily worse and last night AF arrived, and with it the stabbing shooting pains through my groin and the endless ache in my hips. I know from experience that this isnt just hormonal though, this is it now and I dont think it's going to be long before I am back to using my walking stick.

I am dosed up on painkillers but still basically unable to move without wincing or crying. DH has been great though and is helping with housework and shopping. I know its not too long to wait but at the moment I just feel sick of being in pain and letting this limit my life so much.

Sorry to go on, I need to get it out to feel a bit better about it. Eds is asleep now so at least I can rest a little myself! Thanks x

Awww hun you know you only have to pick up ot text me and i'll be there with bells on.... if i'm going out i don't mind picking bits up for you etc.

I'll do all i can to help but i know how limiting it can be..... i've thrown my crutches across the room in frustration lately as i can't use them for want of trying, with my 2 it's virtually impossible to use any support!

I'm pinning all my hopes on my appointment with the Pain doc tomorrow otherwise i'm a mess i'm just taking each hr at a time and resting as much as possible.

But and i emphasise the but fellow stubborn mum if you need me call me we can muddle though together! We just need one more and we can become the 3 amigoes or the muskateers (sp!?)

Take care and rest, enjoy neighbours and look forward to being able to lie down with laptop at the ready xxx

lol Tsena - another one here!! One for all and all for one! Madz, sorry to hear it's back again. Thank goodness you had that more or less pain-free time to enjoy your wedding and honeymoon. SPD is such a horrendous thing - and it is tiring living in pain everyday, especially you being so young. I don't think I'm that old at 35 (ouch!), but it's depressing to be in pain every day - I'd love to be able to stand and do ironing without being in agony for the rest of the day. Will you get your next injections before Christmas?

Tsena - hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. Let us know how you get on.

xxx
