OMG I have just had a letter confirming Edwards place at Playgroup and his first day is Tuesday 8th January! I cant believe my baby boy is going to playgroup! He will be going 2 mornings a week, on a Tuesday and Thursday from 9am - 11.30am!

We can go in to a session in December together so Edward can get used to it and meet everyone. He will already know some of the children, and he will be going with his girlfriend Ruby so that will make it easier for them both.

I think I'm more nervous for me than for him.

How exciting for him, Madz!

It's hard at first but gets better.  It helps if they really look forward to going like my two do.

Most importantly, enjoy that time you don't have him and treat yourself.

Zo xxx

Adams first day at preschool was awful for me. There were lots of children crying, clinging to mummy etc and my little lad just went ' Bye mummy' and ran off! I was more upset at that than if he'd been upset!

He'll be fine, it'll be good for him and you'll notice him coming on leaps and bounds with all the different activities he'll do and interactions he'll experience.

And you'll be fine too!  Get some "me" time activities planned for when he's in playgroup!

Madz, he'll be fantastic there honestly!

Louis started pre school late Sept, he goes 3 days a week 9.30 -1.30pm and i cannot belive how much he has come on.  He can count to 12, he knows his colours and is obsessed with iangles (triangles to me and you).  He is so chatty now and asks on his spare days if its a school day and gets upset when i say not today lol, really makes me feel brilliant that he'd rather be at pre school - not lol.

It took Louis a few weeks to settle but now he's in a routine of waving me off until the car is out of sight.
