Sorry for the spelling. But Ashleigh now has it. Jamie-leigh had it a few weeks ago and when they get it they get it really bad. Ashleigh's came on this afternoon but its just weeping and full of green snot (sorry tmi) all the time. It won't stop leaking. I know i suffered bad with this when i was younger. But is there anything that can stop it? Or at least prevent them getting it as often or as bad? I'm at a loss and i hate to see them like this.

Awww Bless, poor little thing.
Mine haven't really suffered with this much, i can only think of one occassion when one of them has had it before.
No advice in this post really, as im sure with your lo's unfortunately having it so often, you've heard the basics all before, but i hope someone has some magic tips to help you out!
Big hugs to her.

Hun

Mine have had it a few times and it looks so disgusting...... get them to wash their hands before touching each other or their face expecially.... try and wash the eyes regualy in cooled boiled water.... different piece each time you go to wipe.... otherwise get to your gp and get drops but make sure you label the drops as if you touch the eye on one bottle and then do it on the otherones eye that speads it too..... its as bad as the cold and flu bugs.... (but i'm sure you're doing this already)

Otherwise i can't think of much, i just hope it clears up soon for you all.

Love and hugs to all xxx

Fran used to get conjunctivitus all the time it is not nice.  Make sure they don't share flannels and that you wash the flannels regulary.  Bathe the eyes in cool boiled water and use 2 bits of cotton wool one for each eye.  Don't share towels either.  Try to stop them rubbing their eyes too.  I used to try and catch it as soon as I saw it coming up which stopped it getting established.  Brolene drops from the chemist are very good too they won't normally sell it to you for children though they will tell you to see the gp.
