Has anyone seen this on CBeebies? Ive watched it 2 or 3 times now and I think its great. Its like Art Attack only I think its more aimed at preschoolers or even toddlers, opposed to some of the Art Attack things that always looked too hard for me never mind a lo lol
The last one I watched they made a sand castle, its was brilliant, and Ive got it on now (well I mean grumpy pants has lol) and he's just made a hand/foot print. It was made out of card and scrunched up paper, then covered in sand to give it a 3D effect but it looked great. I dont know if all the episodes are as good, but certainly the 3 Ive seen have looked great. Joshua and I love messy play and all things creative and this has certainly offered up some great making ideas.

Oh I dont know, lots of what he uses is 'just stuff'. You can get lots of those bits really cheap at places like The Works, and if you dont have the bits then you can make it at the weekend or something. Joshua has a huge box with different paper/card, pipe cleaners, feathers, pom poms etc etc you can pick them up for a pound a packet and you get loads in them. Oh and little puffy star shapes, they are great value. I keep his box topped up, and have done since he's been tiny. I figured if he always had drawing things to hand he'd leave my walls alone lol.. worked so far pmsl It is nice though, like today he made a guitar, he went and got the prit stick and next thing he had put elastic bands round a shoe box, had stuck on shiney paper cut up in his own shapes and was in the process of tieing a balloon on so he could carry it with a handle. He makes alsorts, although I do regret letting him have his own scissors lolol.. he hasnt mastered picking up all the little cut up bits yet pmsl I cant wait to do some of Mister makers bigger makes at weekends, we'll do the hand print I think after we finished his school Christmas het :o)
