Is this even possible? My friend is currently in a right state over what I believe to be a failed pregnancy test. She is adiment that it is a positive test. She says she has had sore breasts for 2 weeks, and has felt really sicky up until noon most mornings. From what I can gather her af isn't even due for a couple of days but she says 'she just knows'. From what she tells me she must have had symptoms one week after conception... and although I do believe in a woman 'just knows' Im not quite sure her hormones would have been high enough to have any physical changes to her. I'd like to be supportive but she's becoming hysterical and obsessive. As I say I dont even think her test was positive from the way she described it to me. I hate to doubt her, but is it really possible to have symptoms so early?

I had symptoms very early with ds, sore breasts and sickness from about the 3rd to 4th week but with dd it was a couple of weeks later about 5 weeks or so, but kept it a secret for another 6 weeks.

Yes it is.  Yes some women just know as well.  With my last pregnancy I tested positive at 9 dpo but I had symptoms 7 dpo.  Hormonally I felt like I had the worst pmt ever.  Sickness doesn't tend to kick in until around 6wks for most women though.  You can get tender breasts post ovulation anyway so that's not a great indication although the heavier and fuller your breasts feel is a more positive sign.  She needs to do another test no point in panicing until she knows for sure.

When I was pregnant with Rachel I had no symptons what so ever, never had morning sickness, no sore boobs, nothing.....A missed period and a positive test result were the only symptoms.

This time is very different.....I had sickness, sore boobs, wrecked tired, back pain.  Sore boobs started very soon, the sickness didn't start until I was about 6 weeks.

I hope she gets what she is hopeing for.....would she have her date wrong ? I have heard of cases where women were pregnant and still got a period ???????

When I should have had my period, I was in agony. I felt horribly sick and was in quite a bit of abdominal pain. Having had a history of ovarian cysts, I was terrified I'd gotten another big one developing or planning on bursting. Turns out I was pregnant, 2 weeks after when I would have conceived, bang on when I would've had a period. Crazy, eh?

Yes it is possible, with Chloe, Michael and Billy I just knew and had the symptoms to go with it too.   If she was sure about a test , but thee is the possibility of doubt tell her to leave it for a few days a do a re-test.   If she is pregnant  the line should be much more obvious  by that time and she'll know for sure then.
