I have been thinking for a while about a way to remember my babies that I lost and hadn't really found anything that felt appropriate to me until tonight.  I had thought about planting a tree or something similar but my track record with plants isn't great.  I stumbled upon this Website. They make remeberance jewellry for stillbirth and miscarriage sufferers.  They also make fertility bracelets amongst other things.  It is something small and personal that can be worn all the time and you will know the significance of it even though no one else will.  I thought it was a really lovely idea so have ordered a necklace will let you know when it arrives and what it is like.

I've just been on the website and have my heart set on a butterfly rememberance necklace.  I'm going to ask dp if i can get it when he gets up.

I like that the pieces are discreet enough to wear without people over commenting iyswim?

It will be 2 years on Thursday since my mc.  I'm finding it quite hard this year compared to last.

Rin I chose the butterfly one too!

Your right bensmum our babies are always in our hearts but it's nice to have something symbolic to represent their time here.

This is a really lovely site! I was quite drawn to the footprint pendant, would be nice on my necklace with Joshua's fingerprint but we'll see. In February my angel girl would be 5years old, seems so scary that so much time has passed. Sam thank you for bringing this site to us, Im going to have a think and I may get something in memory xxxx

In the memorial jewlry for loss of a loved one there is a dragonfly braclet and necklace too.  When Hayley was younger we lost her Great Grandma on her Dads side and she took this really hard.  I bought a book at the time called "waterbugs and dragonflies" which explains death in a lovely way, I am not sure if it is still available or not to buy.  The necklace or bracelet would have been a lovely way for Hayley to have had something symbolic at the time too.

You can pay with Paypal too which is great.

What a lovely website.  I know I have 5 beautiful and healthy children but I'll still never forget my angel.   I dont know if it was a boy or a girl, my feelings at the time was a girl and I've always been right.   My baby would be ten this year, it was due 29th May 1998,  which just happens to be Michaels birthday.  he pain has eased over the years, and had I had a healthy pregnancy Chloe wouldn't be here today,  but it still hurts when I think of the child I lost.  When I have a bit of spare money I may just invest in a little something that will be special to ust me.

I think i might get one to.. I've had 3 m/c but only one hit me really bad. it was the 5th May 2003 and i was 8 weeks gone.. I've only just found out the date thanks to Trudi as it was the day after her dd's christening. I have been thinking about it a lot more since finding out the date, he or she would have been 4 now.
