Lynie all the twin mums i know say its alot easier to breastfeed. I didn't as i was finding it hard and to tiring with the girls being so small they wore themselves out after about 10 minutes so i had to keep topping them up. In the end i gave in after 3 weeks but i take my hat off to you. Alot of the twin mums i know bf and they love it. Its great to know you are coping really well and you know what you want.
Welldone on getting back into your trousers trust me be prepared for more to drop off lol. xxxxx

Woohoo, I hope so Emma !
I'm trying to feed them within the same hour, it's good if they're out of sync by a quarter of an hour or so because then they can get their own cuddle and are easier to latch on by myself. When they both feed at the same time I find I get really tired although, as you said Jain, it's a lovely experience. Last night was a struggle I have to say, they were relay feeding- one would stop and the other would start so it was terrible! But- I keep telling myself it's only for a wee while and before I know it they'll be at the weaning stage!

Well done you!!! My mum tried bf me and my sis, but had to stop when my big bro got gastro bug. I know she was mix feeding us too, so well done doing it all by yourself! I know how difficult it was at times just bf 1, and the relay feeding sounds really tough! Hope you can keep it up! Maybe when you're in a great routine with them, you could try expressing? That way, if both are hungry you could get someone else to feed one whilst you feed the other. Just a thought. Hope it continues to go well x

Thanks Helen. I'm definitely going to express eventually- I'm just making sure at the moment they learn to latch on properly and take a full feed cycle from me before I introduce a bottle of expressed milk.

I'm very jealous! I didn't stick it out with any of mine, the longest being 6 weeks(and that was my first). I also dropped the weight quickly with these last 2 of mine, keep up the good work hun, I think they need to bottle what you are producing! It took Winston ages after going back onto the bottle before he gained his weight!

Well done you. For managing to breastfeed two babies, I have never really managed even one. Also for losing the weight so quickly. That is amazing. Does it feel strange having your body back to pre pregnancy size?
I have put on 3 stone and couldn't imagine not having a swollen everything.
