I am having my baby on the 14th Jan. WEnt to hossie yesterday and was given date for the c section.

Feeling excited (only 11 more sleeps to go) and very nervous. Actually most nervous about being weighed next wednesday as part of pre op. I had a planned c section with my second child and never got a pre op.

I am now cleaning my house like a maddie. Not because the nesting instinct has kicked in but because my Mum is staying for first couple of weeks and also pil's and other family staying during first few weeks so as they can see the baby.

Better go as kitchen cupboards still need doing.

How exciting!

Dont overdo the cleaning! You need to rest, it'll be your last chance for quite some time!!!

i liked having a set date with dd, as i had a deadline to work to, i managed to get everything done that i wanted to, dp and my mum decorated for when i got home as a surprise, which they could have let me in on, then i might not have cleaned so hard,

Good luck for the 14th, wishing you a speedy recovery.
