Ive put a rocket under my bum this week to boost me to get everything sorted lol Im already successfully on the GI diet, and hope to continue doing well. I have bought a few dance dvd's (2 for £5 some at Morrinsons) and Im going to rotate these. I might do them on a weekly basis so by the end of the week I will know the steps and will be getting a good work out, maybe two weeks rotation we'll see how I pick up the steps. I know my body combat one without even turning it on lol and I dont think it is helping me very much now I dont feel it pull like I used to.

Im also doing some other things, like finding a new job lol.. all to boost my self esteem which that alone will help with my motivation to loose weight, I wont be feeling the lows and hopefully wont have urges for sugary snacks. So hopefully by the end of the week I'll have in place some voluntary work in a nursery, so that in September Im all ready to start the NVQ (again lol). Slight detour from the thread topic sorry lol.. but as I say if my motivated in my mind the diet thing works so much better for me.

Well i am also going to join this thread. I want to lose a stone and i will be more than happy. I have cut out all drink as i was drinking myself silly. So since newyear i have only had one night of drinking and that was the girls birthday but they stayed at my mums that night and we had Chris and Joshua stay with us.

I have already noticed a big difference in my stomach. I'm not as bloated as i was so i have put that down to not drinking. Also i haven't eaten much as i have not much appetite at the minute.

So fingers crossed for everyone trying. I'm like most people on here i will go on my clothes rather than weighing myself. xxxx

Well, Ive just had my first GI day today.  Started off the day with a cup of decaf coffee, and porridge.  Got to work and cleared my office of all forbidden foods, biscuits, cakes, proper coffee etc and sent them upstairs to the main office.  Drank peppermint tea and had a snack of almonds and hazelnuts.

Got home and had some Baxters Healthy Choice chicken and veg soup and some granary bread with utterly butterly on (chucked the lurpak out).

Prepared the dinner of fish in low-fat cheese sauce and new potatoes, however, didnt bank on having to shell and clean the longaustines - yak - totally put me off so i had a bowl of fat-free coleslaw instead lol.

Been drinking peppermint tea and decaf coffee throughout the day and Ive just had my supper of a bacon sarnie - with back bacon and I totally enjoyed it and Im full up now!!

And I also have to say that I have managed to get through the day without snacking at all!!!  Woohooo!!

Gonna try the meatballs tomorrow, this lifestyle is far from boring and its delicious and i hope every day is like today!!!!

We have the Baxters Healthy Choice soups they are really filling I can't eat a whole tin at lunch time, they are really nice flavours too.  Well done sounds like your doing well so far, I am still guilty of finishing the Christmas stuff off I am afraid but not being too bad.
