All i can say is be pacient and he will do it when he is ready.

My girls are dry most of the time but Ashleigh is having a relapse again at the minute. We went for a walk this morning and she wee'd herself and didn't tell me. Roll on the warmer weather as that seems to help. xxx

I started Ellie on Friday - she will be 3 in April. I was feeling the pressure to potty train her as nursery encourage her to sit on the potty, relatives keep asking why she isn't potty trained yet and ds was potty trained days after his second birthday. Did try her awhile ago and she was not ready so I decided to wait and go with the flow.

She refuses to use the potty at home but will happily go to the toilet. She had 1 accident Friday morning but no others. I am asking every 30-45 mins if she needs a wee. Sometimes she does say when she needs a wee. We've been at a christening today so she had a pull-up on but I don't want her to think she's got a nappy on so trying not to use them too much.

Tomorrow she is at nursery and I'm really nervous about taking her in pants, we leave the house at 8.30 to do the school run, then catch the bus to my work/her nursery and get there about 9.30, therefore she has an hour in pants with no toilet to use

Good luck with the potty training Hazy! Hope Adams feeling better soon x

don't worry Hun, i think the same as the others when there ready they will start don't put any pressure on him as i think that tends to be worse and takes longer -i.e someone i know swears her daughter was dry at 18 months the poor child is now 4 and is still peeing herself most of the time - so let it happen when hes ready, molly has been training now since the new year, shes doing well but we have the odd accident shes in pants all day and a nappy at night a friend suggested to me when we started if mols was to have a accident leave her for a few Min's in her wet pants so she gets to know she doesn't like that feeling i think that may of helped a tad but i literally mean Min's or they would get sore - good luck he will do it when hes ready Hun xx jue xx

Well i have had another mightmare day with Ashleigh.

We went to ours friends this afternoon and she decided to wee herself 3 times. She never once told me she needed the loo. Then i asked her if she wanted to go and she said yes.

Then after that she told me but was really quiet about it so i'm wondering if she feels embarassed about asking to use someone elses toilet!!!

My little girl is almost getting there. She's now in knickers at nursery & when she's at home although she great with wees. She's still having plenty of number 2 accidents in her knickers.

As for the last comment about being embarassed about toilets my DD wasn't aware there was toilets other than any I'd shown her. She's only just started to ask for toilets, for example, if we are in our local centre very recently. Until lately I'd have to tell her there would be toilet say at playgroup or someone else's house, so that's worth a try. It may seem logical to us but not always to them.
