Joshua asked if he could have a friend over for dinner, I said yes no trouble. Organised it with the mum and we agreed I'd pick him up after school today and take him home later. Then I gets to school this morning and bumps into another of Joshua's friends and his dad. I offered to have him after school as well (usually we each take the others child once a week lol) I thought I'd have them all the same day and its easier on me lol

The mad part... I spent ages tidying up for them!! I was thinking to myself, oh tidy up so they have more room to play, little house and 3 children doesn't bode well lol What a complete waste of time! I took the boys to the park and then asked them to play nicely for a bit while dinner cooks. Ive put dinner on, and in that 15 minutes they have trashed all the work I did tidying and are now playing between millions of toys lol I should have just left the room how it was save them having to get the toys out - they'd have been scattered ready pmsl There's lots of giggling going on so sounds like they having fun, Im keeping as far away as possible pmsl

Oh made that drastic mistake for Joshua's birthday too lolol.. we never learn!

Well they all ate their dinner, and pudding! Not bad seeing as one of the kids never eats a thing pmsl his mummy will be impressed!

They're back upstairs no doubt trashing it lolLeast they are keeping themselves amused. They'll get a shock in 10 minutes when I shout tidy up time hehe ... and yes they so are tidying up lolol

I do the tidying up thing before being descend upon as well.  My mum often questions that!  Think we both must be mad - it's a thing us mums do, isn't it?!

Did Joshua have a nice time?  I love it when he comes over here to play with the boys, except it's such a long way to come, isn't it?

Not for us, its a long way for you because you do it twice ha ha sorry :oP Its only a little extra to yours from my mums so its not to bad,given I do that drive regulary and I love seeing you all! Joshua misses the lads when its been a while!

Joshua seems to be enjoying himself, they said they've tidied lol I doubt it but time to get one of them home, the other is being picked up at half 6 and it takes about half an hour to drop Jake off and get Joshua back out of his house rofl

Awww i too do this mad tidying bit.... then it's horrendous but at least they love it. I've found kids always eat better when with friends....

Hope it doesn't take you too long to put your place back together!

lol....soooooo did you survive lol.

Isla has decided that the whole of nursery is coming here to play..hmmmm try again kidder!

Ive had housefull of kids through the year and its been alright, bless em.  Mostly when ive been really poorly, which hasnt been easy, but ive been flopped on the sofa..sharons come over with her brood, and all the kids have been playing upstairs.  So at least my pair were occupied when i was feeling pants and couldnt do anything lol.

Comes to something though...when ooo about 10am and I get a...steeeeeph are you erm making doughnuts today or are you making your soup...and erm can i come over for lunch and to help you by playing with the girls...loved getting those phonecalls from an 11 year old!  Mind you...the bit sharons daughter loved the best was instead of just making it...I got her to do it while i supervised...apparently shes now a dab hand at making nikkis soup
