wentworth has always been a bit clumsy, but now im really getting worried its not just a normal boy toddler who likes to get into things which i know he does but if there was a pea in a football field that child would fall over it.

everyday he falls over and hurts his head mostly, he will fall over even if thers nothing to fall over,

yesterday he was on his rocking horse and he went flying over the head and landing on his building block cart and he has a cut down his right side of his head and his right eye, its slightly bruised but most of that is the remains from his black eye that svannah gave him. well if that wasnt enough to get the neighbours thinking i beat him, then today he fell in the shower and cut his left eye open which is now a lovely shade of red and blue.

how do i stop him falling so much before he back in a and e or has a broken bone???

do u think its normal baby/toddler fall or should i be concerned?

Is it every few weeks he does this?

Maybe he is having a growth spurt... i heard toddlers are more clumsy at this period! Maybe he is going through this.

If its all the time and its been happening since you can remember i would get him checked out.

To be honest Ashleigh is the clumsiest out of my pair and she goes through everyday of falling and bumping and then she goes a week or so without doing a thing.

Keep a record and if it still concerns you get him checked otherwise i would just put it down to being a toddler.. xxx

its evryday! i cant remember a day when he hasnt hurt himself properly,

he even headbutted julies glass table! its very obvious its there lol

I'd have a chat with your gp and hv hun, make a note book of what he does and when etc as it'll be handy for them to see the frequency of it.

Is he old enough to have his eyes tested? Might be worthwhile if he's old enough just to rule it out.

But i'd look into it hun as you're only going to worry if you don't

u know i never thought about his eyes, that is a great possibility as almost evryone in both of our families except me and dh wear glasses also my dad, his 5 brothers and my grandad have glaucoma so have eye problems.

how old do u have to be to have an eye test?

wentworth is 16 months and has been walking since 8 and a half months

He can have the tests now i believe! My friend has twins and one of hers had glasses just after he was 1.

Eds has his eyes tested every 6months to a year and they can tell you now if he has probs. See your gp and get a referal.

Eds is tested as he has a rare eye condition but so far his vision if perfect.
