Helloooooo folks!
Just me! And I am still in the land of the living, although a lot of the time I feel a bit of a zombie. The twins are 5 weeks old now and as cute as anything. Sophie has lovely golden hair with wee blonde highlights and a funny quizical look when she's awake and Euan is just like my dad- a wee bald man who loves cuddles. I'm still managing to breast feed them exclusively- It's been hard work at times, but most of the time it's fine. They both had wee growth spurts for a couple of days and constantly fed which was hard going, but they've settled down again.
Alex, my big boy at 5, is a great wee help and is happy- but we're having problems with Emilie. Her behavior is terrible at the moment and I can't take my eyes off her for a moment and she's up to something. It's completely understandable: she was the baby and now she's having to cope with sharing the limelight with twin babies- a tall order for a two year old.
So the hv came round today and offered to support an application for Em to go to the local nursery centre for a few sessions a week, which I'm going to take up as she needs more stimulation than she's getting at home at the moment.

Awww hun glad to know you've not been buried under a mountain of washing..........
Congrats for still managing to feed the twins.... As for the big ones its fantastic that Alex is being such a big help.... mine was at 4.... as for Emilie, it is understandable and no one's to blame but i think the nursey might be a good move well till she wants to bring friends home etc!

I really dont know how you do it, but well done you. I've struggled FF a new baby, let alone exclusively feeding twins. The picture is stunning too. I hope it gets easier for you as time goes on, as for Emily, she will come around eventually, I was lucky with Aimee when I had Billy but I've been through the jelously and it doesn't last forever. Keep going hun and dont be afraid to accept any help offered to you.

Im pleased things are going well for you! Adams been playing up since Mae came but most of the time he's ok, Zarah is jealous of Mae's bottles though! I'm sure nursery will be good for Emilie and you. Adam loves preschool and it gives him time away from the 2 girls.
I don't know how your surviving with nightfeeding 2, I'm struggling with just 1!

Glad to hear everything is pretty good at your end and your still breastfeeding! Your just so good! I'm wanting to breastfeed Millie-Bump when she arrives, but I wa hopeless at it with Jess so I'm just praying I make a better job of it this time (think I may put my name down for a BF buddy once she arrives cos I'm twittering about it already lol) I can't give you much advice re; Emilie cos I've not done the sharing bit yet- just hang in there, I'm sure it will all work itself out somehow

Awwwww, they are gorgeous, xxx.
You are doing a fantastic job of BF two babies so hats off to you there.
Em will find it hard adjusting as I had the same thing with Sophie. I took her to Tai-chi where there was a creche and she really began to settle down.

Hello Lady!
You look terrific, and what gorgeous children you have. I know what you mean about Emilie playing up Max was exactly the same when Tom came along. Like you say it's perfectly understandable, just bloomin hard going at time.

What a fab photo. Glad to hear the breast feeding is going well - it's exhausting feeding one nevermind two! Well done you! Your twinies are beautiful - and you look amazing! You'd never believe you had 5 week old twins lol!
My friend had a wee bit of jealousy to deal with when her 2nd wee girl came along - Lola wasn't chuffed to say the least (she was 2 too). A few months along the line and things were fine tho. Glad Alex is being a good help - Cameron will be just turned 5 when this next one arrives.
