Going for my colonscopy on the 13th of Feb. Totally dreading it, but I'll be ok. Have had an enema before so surely this one can't be much more un-dignified, lol.

I'm sure I've had one of these Hazy - I had an upper-endoscopy and an 'investigation' at the other end too. It was a bit uncomfortable, and embarrassing (as it was a young and rather attractive doctor who performed it!!) but not too bad.

Not too long to wait which is good. If it's a colonoscopy it won't be an enema you will be given picalax or fleet to drink the day before and be on clear fluids. You will also be sedated during the procedure so will have to wait afterwards for that to ware off. Good luck and hope it's a good outcome for you.

Ive had a colonoscopy and even though I was given piccolax I still had to have an enema, which wasnt pleasant. It was a bit uncomfortable, and they took a biopsy too. I had sedation too and it didnt take long hunny. Its not that bad, hopefully it will come round quick for you xxxxxxx
