I've just been playing with Billy and he was stood up, I thought I'd let go to see what he did.  To my amazement he just stood there for about 20 seconds on his own.  I'm so glad I had my camera with me, I've managed to get 3 pictures of him doing it...I'm just so shocked, he's still only 6 months!

Here he is happily stood up

Here he is when he realised he didn't have any support, lol

And here he is just about falling over with Michael (off school sick), just about to catch him.

Wow! What a clever boy! It seems like no time at all since he was born - and now look at him! He's soooo cute too.

I think Michael was my earliest standing unaided at 11 months, I really cant believe Billy has done it so early though he isn't interested in crawling, he wont go on his tum at all without a screaming paddy.

He reminds me of Eds - I cant remember when he first stood unaided but he was early - then again he was crawling a 5 1/2 months!

Well done little Billy!

Well done Billy. My dd was walking at 8 months but my boys were later.

Won't be long until he is on the move
