My announcements were not sweet at all because I cried both times.  Sorry, but the truth be told we hadn't planned Max and Tom and it took me a while to come to terms with being pregnant and then being a new mum with a 9 month old before falling pregnant again.  It was a huge shock for me, one I didn't handle terribly well, but nor was I given the right support either.

Then 9 months after giving birth I fell pregnant again, and cried some more!  See, told you it wasn't sweet!

Had to tell family and friends over the phone as we were living in West Africa-it wasn't what I had imagined announcing my pregnancy to be like, but hey ho I don't do things by halves.

But I have two wonderful, healthy little boys who I wouldn't take back (to the shop) for anything.  They're my world.  Being pregnant in a foreign land, away from those I loved was a very traumatic for me, but it all came good in the end.
