I saw my MW yesterday for my anti-D injection.

She checked the size of my bump and I am measuring exactly 36cms at 35+6 weeks, which is better than 25cms at 30 weeks!

Bubs is head down but back to back - DD Louise was back2back during labour.  She only turned when she came out lol.

The MW said my bump is neat, still no stretchmarks ........... touch wood lol!

I am having my home birth assessment some time in the next 2 weeks as the MW lives in the village next to us lol.

The other problem is I have white cells in my urine, which is indicative of a water infection ........ any ideas?

xx B xx

36 weeks tomorrow!

Hope bubs turns soon and you get your home birth. xx

Glad everything is going well for you. Cameron was back to back with me - actually a far better labour than with the girls - don't know whether that was just a coincidence! I'm hoping to go for a home birth with this one - although I'd have to make it to 39 weeks for it to be allowed here, and the midwife doesn't think I'll reach that stage, due to my history. I missed out with Cameron as he came at 37 weeks. I hope you manage to get yours - good luck!

xxx

Oh, and stretch marks........I have them from one side of my tummy to the other, and from the bottom to the top - every last space! They were courtesy of Rebecca! lol

I' sat here wondering how to reply, but I'm afraid I'm jealous, I had really bad stretch marks from having ds1, and the multiplied more than the amount of kids I have by the last time! lol

As for the infection, I swear by Cranberry juice for everything, and so far, it works.  Hope everything comes back clear for you.

Thanks for all your messages.  I think it's because my bump is so neat, you can't tell I am pregnant from the back lol!

I have another appt with the MW in 2 weeks time, a different one once again for my 38 week appointment .......... sigh!

In our area you can ahve a home birth from 37 weeks ........ I am 36 weeks tomorrow lol!

Oooooh you lucky woman- my bloomin belly is like a map of France with all the stretch marks. It's actually worse aswell cos DD number one (Jess) was breech so I was a completely different shape with her from what I am now with Millie-Bump as she's cephalic; I have stretch marks on my lower belly from Jess and now I also have them on the upper part of my belly from this pg. Mind you with my fat bum, my days of skimpy tops are long gone anyway

With regard to the cells in your urine, I was told at my 36 week MW appointment that my urine was showing signs of an infection. They sent my sample of to the lab and it came back fine- the MW apparently said sometimes protein/cells from normal pg vaginal discharge can get mixed in with the urine when you pee and therefore it shows up as if you have an infection. My urine samples have been clear ever since and I'm now 39+5 wks (due Saturday and very unimpressed at the lack of contractions so far, but hey! will not start moaning again lol) I actually asked my MW what would happen if I did have an infection and she said they'd just put me on a course of antibiotics, so I really wouldn't worry about your urine show-up too much. It's probably nothing, but if it isn't- they'll soon sort you out
