Yet again af is late for me, in one way though I am glad as yesterday was my birthday and really didnt want af to visit on my birthday but still no sign of her, but trying not to worry that she is late should have been cd2 today so not too late as yet, dont really want to poas yet in case I get disappointed again. How long do you think I should leave it before i poas? Dawn xx

Firstly may i welcome you to the site.
I've never ttc so i'm not fully sure but i would say my af's can be 4/5 days early or late.... if you have no sign in a week i'd look at doing a test then.... our bodys seem so sensitive to the smallest thing, stress, ammount of physical exercise.... so who knows hun.... i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.....

Hi hun, welcome to the site and Happy birthday for a couple of days ago.
They say you can test any day from your missed AF, and there are some tests that claim to work up to 4 days before it's even due. I think you could test anytime and it would be pretty accurate now but if you want a more definite answer I'd advise to you wait at least a couple more days.

i agree with the other girls try nd wait a few days.. i know its hard. if you can't wait then go for a early detection test which you can use upto 4 days before your af is due. keep us posted... we all got our fingers crossed.

Thanks girls, I had a great birthday (not suffering thankfully lol I dont suffer as dont drink much when I do drink and not that often) usually I have 28 day cycles have recently had a few where once I had a 23 day cycle and then 28 day ones but now this one so far is 31 days but this am been having a few twinges and feel sick but that could be af due xx
