Adam was determined to walk round the supermarket today so as there was two of us, we let him.
Massive Tescos we were in and then he did it !! He ran off. OMG ! I thought the world had ended. I was running round the shop shouting Adam, then I started crying and asking EVERYONE if they had seen a wee boy in a blue coat, brown trousers and red shoes. Nope, no-one had seen him. Andy in the mean time had taken Sophie to go and find a security guard. The lil toad was sat in the photobooth quite oblivious to all the fuss going on. God, me and Andy nearly snapped him half cuddling him so tightly.
He was put on Daddy's shoulders for the rest of the trip.
If that wasn't enough, we were sat in the car ready to go home, when Adam started choking on a jelly tot sweetie ! Had to whack him on the back and out flew a purple jelly tot.
Extra hugs for Adam at bedtime tonight I can tell you !

PMSL not because you had a fright, but because they usually turn up oblivious to the stress they cause you! I never allow food in the car these days, the last time grandma gave them a pack of quavers I had to do an emergency stop along a single track road! By the time I got to the child in question he was fine, how I made it the rest of teh way home I have no idea! Hope he has a better day tomorrow!

It is scary. Over here the trolleys only have one seat in and as Seren is only 11 months she sits in that so I have to have Cerys walk and if DH isn't with me it's a nightmare. CJ did a similar trick to me a couple of weeks ago, the people in the isle had their trollies sideways and I was trying to get passed when Cerys ran straight past and through a gap in the isle. I shouted at her to stop just before she actually ran and I got a really horrible look from the people in the isle, then she bolted. There was a woman stacking shelves where CJ had been and I was stuck behind these zig zag trollies, I shouted excuse me in German as loud as I could and in the end just rammed them out of the way so I could try and find my daughter!! I got round the corner and she was no where in sight panic definitely set in. I looked at the woman stacking shelves and said to her 'Meine Kinder, Meine Kinder' hoping she had seen which way she had gone and she just pointed roughly in a direction but did not seem bothered to help me at all. Suddenly CJ then appeared around the corner I was so relieved but did make me think that if I had to go to the desk and report her missing how would I describe her as I know a little German but not masses despite trying to learn it.

Glad all was Ok in the end though, it is so frightening so totally understand how you felt.
