Wee Cameron has his school boosters this afternoon - MMR and one of the meningitis (sp?) ones. He's quite happy about it - been asking for days if it's tomorrow he gets his injections - but that's because I've promised he can go to the shop on the way home and choose a tub of icecream for after tea! lol I've made some jelly too.

I'm dreading it though, as he had immediate reactions with his baby injections - within seconds of it being done - so I'm hoping he'll be better with these ones. I was hoping dh could come with us, but he can't get any more time off work at the moment (we've had endless hospital appointments recently between us all! lol) so it's just me and my boy! His appointment is 3.30, so I'll pick him up from school and head straight there. Wish us luck - I hate this (and will have to go through this all again with the next one!!!) It doesn't get any easier lol!

xxx

Good luck, i hate taking them for their pre school jabs more than the baby ones as they know whats going on, although my ds was like cameron and couldnt wait he was really excited, didnt cry and told everyone that would listen what a good brave boy he had been. Although bribery does work wonders he was told no tears and he could go to the sweet shop afterwards worked wonders xxx

Awww he'll be at the shop about now choosing his ice cream. I hope it went well.

When Joshua had his they didnt have any of the meningitis ones so he had his preschool booster then had to go back in a few days for the other.. that didnt go down well lol Joshua also had a reaction but they think he has a tetnus allergy like his bio-dad so it was expected! lol

All went fine thank you! We were in and out in 5 minutes.  He was really brave - although wasn't quite so keen to get the second one (we had to hold him and quickly do it!). Poor Joshua - I think I'd have struggled to get Cameron back for another one. We're back at the med centre tomorrow afternoon for the asthma clinic - hopefully it hasn't put him off!

Almost expired at the till - our local Spar (nearest supermarket 15 miles, so try to just get essentials at Spar!) charged me £4.95 for a relatively wee tub of Ben and Jerrys, and same again for 4 small tubs of Haagen Das (sp? lol) for rest of us. The woman laughed at my face when she said how much! Won't be telling dh how much our dessert cost tonight lol!

xxx

Awww, glad he was a brave wee soldier, xxx.

I hate shopping in our Spar shop, costs way too much.

Aww glad it all went ok.

i know what you mean about over priced stuff.

We have a somerfield in our village and its expensive as its a convenience store. So now i shop at tesco and get them to deliver!
