On Wednesday at Tsenas I noticed I had some odd red marks on my left arm - it looked like i'd burnt it or splashed something on it but I couldnt thing of anything it could have been - it didnt hurt so I ignored it.

I then noticed yesterday morning they were still there. But no change and no pain or itching. Asked at gp to see nurse but noone avaliable - asked pharmasist - no idea!

Yesterday evening I noticed they were getting tender to the touch - sort of stinging if i brushed them. By the time I went to bed one had sort of split. They still sting if touched but nothing else. I have 2 big ones and 2 tiny ones in between.

I've taken a couple of pics but they arent clear.

Pop yourself to the docs, and see what he can suggest. phoning nhs direct won't help much as they can't see them. let us know how you get on.

Have you been using bleach on anything or oven cleaner, almost look like chemical burns.  What do you use to clean the bath could it be something you use all the time but don't normally get splashed with?

I didnt get them checked in the end. The 3 smaller ones are fading now and the largest one has sort of scabbed over and looks a bit yuk really but am putting cream on it - they dont hurt really and I still have no idea what they are/were. Very odd.

Strange, they look like the same marks my hubby gets on his arms and he has eczema. Did you change washing powders or shower gels lately ?

Glad they are fading anyway, xxx.
