Hi ladies, well I am trying to decide which broadband service to use, I'm fed up with dial up taking hours to load, and hate having the internet disconnect as someone has left a message on 1571!  What provider do you use, and do you like it?

We are with BT but the main reason for that is purely reliability and a work need in the past for a good connection, we've been with them since Broadband came to our town, probably 7 years now I would think, however we do pay quite a lot but for the reasons previously stated.

I'm pretty certain you are not going to go with AOL .

Have you heard about the SKY loophole? If you are not a SKY customer already then this may be for you Sky TV, Broadband and phone for as little as £6 a month.

Definitely not AOL flip, I have had enough with their updates, and changes that just make some sites take longer.  We are a sky customer, so will have to look around.  Hubby refuses to use bt except for the phone! He thinks I pay too many peoples wages as it is! lol

Yep BT are expensive but then again you pay for what you get as with everything in life, in that 7-8 years of having BT Broadband we have never had any downtime.

Eclipse are very very good and they would be my next choice and if we move I will probably consider at the same time moving to them, I think the ones to avoid are the real budget ones, we all know who they are.

We are also with BT, had a bad experience with talktalk - we have the BT homehub and BT vision as well - more or less the whole package which like Flip says isnt cheap - but it is reliable.

We are with BT Wireless too and have the Home Hub option now aswell

I have had no probs with them since we got it about 6 years ago and I like the Vault option we have with it as we can save all our photos etc in it just in case!

Definitely shop around for it though

Good Luck
xx
