I weighed myself yesturday and was dishearted that i hadnt lost so today at work i used our scales there (big industrial ones ) which are 100% accurate (there calibrated ) and said i was 7lb lighter than my scales i asked a woman at work if they would give me a more accurate result than my own to which she said yep ! so thinking i had buggered scales lol i brought some more (@22.99) got home trie them out for them to give me the same weight as my other ones  well i then screamed shouted then tried the kg section (same as at work ) and got virtually the same result as the work ones .Why is it these scales vary so much between stones and kg's (in stones i weigh 13st 11lb ish and in kg's im 86 which converts to 13st 5lb ) why such a vary in results eh?

I have no idea why they convert so odd but I have exactly the same problem.  When I was weighed at the hospital I had lost a good amount of weight in kg but when I weigh myself in stone on the home ones they read exactly the same as they always do, I too thought they were broken and tried the kg weight and got the same as the hospital.....  Maybe scales are made to kg as we are meant to be a decimal nation now and they convert them inaccuratly to stone and pounds.
