My hips and groin have been agony over the last few days, really getting bad again and DP is being such an arse about it its really upsetting me.

Before I got pregnant me and dp used to do a lot of walking/hiking, especially on holiday. Obviously because of my SPD we couldnt do it while I was pregnant. We're going to Dorset on Saturday for a week and DP is sulking because my hips mean we wont be able to do much walking. He never asks how I am and if I do complain he just goes on about the holiday, it is so selfish. I carry Edward around all day and its agony, I feed him and I bath him and very occasionally Tony will play with him for 5 mins. He does do alot around the house but this is getting me down.

Also the pain in my groin is definatly SPD but my hip pain is different, and really bad, I'm worried its and osteopathic problem, something other than or because of the SPD.

I'm in so much pain today and I have so much to do to get ready for this holiday and i'm not even looking forward to it now as i know dp will sulk!

aww you poor thing, men can be so -  grrrrrrrr cant think of the words, you know something, my dh trapped a nerve in his back last week, and you should have heard him! I told him to multiply the pain by 1000 + more and he might get just a little bit near childbirth.

He really milked it too, said he couldnt do or lift ANYTHING even the los changing bag,  so what did I do, this week, ive made sure Ive done as little as possible and whenever he rings made sure he can hear April having a screaming session, now he admits that I do do a lot, and I need all the support I can get - hehe made my point

Hope you get some support and SOON,

luv and hugs lilyb xx

aww hun, i know how u feel with the pain side of things hun

Sending u big big hugs.

Have u gone back to your gp and demanded to see a physio because of the way things are going.  Some men have no idea he should be supporting u hun not making u feel bad about the hols.  I don't what can we do with them xxx

If only they could be in our shoes for a day and then i think they would change xxx

lol stac, my dh readily admitted last night that he would last exactly half a day if he did what i do every day in day out

He rang my mum on his way home and organised us to go and drop all the children to her and we go out and spend some time together, plus its our anniversary on the 3rd Oct, bless him.

Mind u i will have to be organised, mum lives down in Essex near the Dartford bridge so its going to take a while to drive down from ours

xx lilybxx

I have seen my doctor and he told me i had to phone phsio direct - i did, on the 9th september and they sent me exersizes and booked me an appt for 14th October!

I called yesterday to say its worse and they've forwarded my details to the physio so they said they'd contact them and get a physio to ring me straight away - still nothing!

If they havent called after i've had lunch i'll call them direct and if they cant do anything i'll make an emergency appt with GP and play it up (It almost is as bad as when i was using the crutches, but how do you use crutches with a baby?)
