Hey all, yes its me and i'm BACK...

Did you miss me? lol.

Well i must say its been an interesting week away. We went to Mablethorpe for the week and the weather was all over place. We got there on Friday and spent most of the night putting poles back in the awning as the wind was so bad. Alot of people got up the next day to find they had no awning left. Then on the Sat we went to Ingoldmells which was very cold but dry. We had a great day with the girls who went on loads of rides and got spoilt rotten as usual lol.

Then sunday we woke up to about 3 inchs of snow. Luckily we had brought some wellies the day before so we could go out in it. (I have loads of pics which i will get on later once the girls are in bed).

On the same day the snow melted as it was warm when the sun came out. Then we went from snow to sunshine to hail, sleet and even thundering and lightening. So Sunday was a very strange day. But most of the week we got out. It was really cold but it was fun.

The site we was on was like a swamp. My dad ended up towing peoples cars and caravans off the field as they just got stuck. So the girls got abit extra spending money lol. My dad refused to take the money but people insisted so he gave it the girls bless him.

So as you can imagine i am glad to be back. It was a good week but it was too long due to the weather!!!

We went away in our caravan for a long weekend over easter and nearly lost our awning the first night but secured it better after that and it was ok.  We also had hail which is blooming noisy in a caravan.  We went to St Audreys Bay not far from Minehead, it was lovely to get away.  It was very muddy and welly boots were a must.

Glad you had a good time, when are you going away next?  Out of interest how do the girls sleep in the caravan, do they sleep well or do you keep them up late, do they sleep in bunk beds?

Sam my girls are great. I think the fresh air whacks them out anyway. They were in bed and asleep by 8pm most nights. They slept on a bunk the first few nights as Kev was with us but then they slept with me on the double bed. They did go to sleep a little later than they do when we are at home but its only by about half an hour and once they was asleep they were gone untill morning.

We are going away again at the end of June beginning of July for 2 weeks to Tenby. Not sure how they will cope for 2 weeks as they was more than ready to come home this time. Hopefully the weather will be loads better so we can spend more time out of the van rather than in it lol... xx

Ollie sleeps ok too which surprised me as normally if I go to stay with friends or family he is a nightmare, it probably is the fresh air that knocks him out.  Ollie slept between us this time but the bed is huge so we didn't really notice it was cold and I didn't want him to wake up freezing, not that he would have really as the heating was on.  The best bit I like about it is the morning as Ollie doesn't wake up too early when we are away then we lay in bed watching the tv and drinking tea, luxury....  We are going away the end of July to North Wales, fingers crossed the weather is good!!
