Just a quick hi to let you all know how I got on. Had a quick examination which was very painful and the consultant said that I have a fissure which is quite a bad one and will need surgery to correct it. Then while I am am under, they are going to do an endoscopy to see what else has been going on. He thinks it's more than likely I have an inflammed bowel.
He said that I should've been refered to him months ago so he isn't happy with the GP's at Tain health centre, lol.
Hopefully the appointment will be through soon so I can go back to being "normal" !

Ouch!!  Having had a few abcesses in that regin I can sympathise, fingers crossed the surgery happens really quickly.  At least they are going to do the endscopic procedure under general which is so much nicer.  Hope you get some answers.  I have ulcerative colitis which basically means I suffer from Ulcers in my bowel and mouth.  Not nice and I have to take tablets for the rest of my life to keep it under control which also have a detrimental affect on the rest of my health, for examply my hair falls out in big clumps, my joints are painful most days particularly my hand and knee joints.  But I can live a "normal" life with the aid of the medication.  Hope they sort you out soon nothing worse than not feeling well.

Aw was wondering how you had got on Hazy. What a shame it's taken them so long - but glad they're getting you sorted now. (and doing the endoscopy under general - much better for you)

Hope the appointment comes through quickly and you can get this over with.

xxx

Still sore. It mostly happens at night but there is always a dull ache all day every day.
