My main one is Wires by Athlete.

It was released when i had my girls 8 weeks early. Its about his daughter when she was in hospital. It was just really weird as it came out the same time i had the girls and it still makes me cry even though i know they are ok.

It just brings it all back and we know how lucky we are that we have them! xx

Mine would be 'Protection' by Massive Attack.  This is my song to my little rocks, my beautiful children.  The words always strike a chord with me.

We often have Radio One on in the office, and I always look forward to hearing Changing Tracks and the stories behind them.  Some of 'em move me to tears.

I have a few:

Summer of 69 and Build me up Butterbup remind me of the good days with my girlfriends.

500 miles reminds me of Uni and my housemates

Love at first sight by Kylie reminds me of when DH and I were first together.

Still the one by Shania Twain is hubby and I's song and the words ring very true for us - it was our first dance at our wedding.

Beautiful by Christina Agulaira reminds me of when I was stuck away at Uni very unhappy and was missing Tony

The Snake by Al Wilson reminds me of mum - odd as she has a snake phobia but we both love this song and its from her youth

And of course - Tony Christie and Peter Kay - Is this the way to Amarillo - reminds me of when I was pregnant and of all you girlies!

OOhhh I have so many!
The Wanadies - 'You and Me Song', Gene - 'Olympian' and any track
from the album The Bends by Radiohead reminds me of my fabby
hubby and me. I could close my eyes and be back (pre-kids and
marriage) in my early 20's.......mmmmm.

When I lost my first baby I played 'You Must Love Me' from Evita on
repeat - the words expressed all my fears, feelings and thoughts -it
makes me cry everytime.

Any song from ABBA takes me back to the flabbiest summer ever
that gave me the best friend I could ever have. Lynie -you know
what I'm talking about!!! Included in that I have to add Del Amitri,
Beautiful South oohh that list could go on..

If I need to chill out, I automatically go for 'Give Me a Reason to Be
A Woman' by Portishead.

Oh I feel all emotional now. I'm away to listen to some.

"Where' meeee jumper?"

The Erasure ABBA ep!

Tori Amos "Silent all these years"

Nirvana Nevermind....

Fabulous- thanks for being my best friend too.

(Can you tell I've had a couple)!

Nope not soppy at all, Jain.

I have songs that remind me of my ex so I just turn them off!  It's great, you must try it.

I have all sorts of songs that remind me of certain situations.

When I was pregnant with Tom, Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful' was in the charts, so I adopted that song for him, and he is too!

Max has loads, but I would often sing 'you are my sunshine' to him.

When I was going through my divorce the song 'All by myself' came on the radio and mum turned it off.  She reckoned it was the last thing I needed to hear.  Oh, and she also banned me from listening to my Snow Patrol album at that time because it was 'too morbid' in her opinion, and she didn't think I should be listening to it - lololol, bless her.

Now it makes me laugh because I've come on so far.

I have some 'inspirational' songs that spur me on, 'Stronger' by the Sugarbabes and the corny 'Independent Woman' by Destiny's Child always make me smile.
