Some of the things I found out yesterday.

The Gp in Tain said that my thrush is NOT an allergy to penicillon (it is according to the Consultant), I should've been examined as soon as fissure was mentioned the first time (wasn't). I should've been referred across on my 3rd visit to the GP's (I wasn't).

Am so angry with the GP's in Tain apart from Dr Fitzsimmons who was the only one out of 4 that decided to refer me.

One good thing was that I got weighed. I banned scales from the house a few years agao as I was becoming obsessed with my weight. Anyhoo, found out yesterday that I am 9st and 8lbs !! Haven't been that light since before Sophie was conceived !

Its deffinately a good job that you persevered and found one good doctor amongst the other totally useless ones isnt it!
I would make a statement pointing out all the things that should have been done for you, but wasnt and take them along to those G.p's for future reference.
It wasnt right that you was passed from pillar to post, and they need to recognise that it could have been sorted out sooner and caused you much less fuss and suffering.

Oh, and congratulations on your weight loss.

Awww hugs hun sounds like you've been though the mill abit. I think it's down right stupid that they've mucked you around like this.

I would you put a complaint in and have a word with the practice manager as this is not on, they are playing with your life and the quality of it.... i really hope you get some answers soon.

Its fab about your weight hun! Congrats!

Hey chica....id whack a complaint in, one two the practice manager, and also to the Primary Care Trust (PCT) as they are commisioning the services of the GPs...sooooo go for it chica.
