Yes I can touch type, I trained myself when I first went to University because my college tutor told me that if I could touch type then I would save at least 3 hours for every exam I had to type up, and he was right. Having two small girls at the time any time saved was a bonus. I do take great pleasure at work carrying on typing when someone comes to speak to me and answering them too most of the blokes can't work out how I can do it as they are all 2 finger typists with their noses on the keyboards, keeps me amused if nothing else.

yes i can do it too im not a touch typist though lol mines just internet practise im afraid lol oh and i do look down every now and then, I also suprised myself on how much i can actually type without looking lol
OOOOhh and ctw yo got my atarted of typing now how many words can you type a minute - get the stop watches out! :)

I did touch typing at school - I have 'O' Grade and Higher Secretarial Studies, and some other qualifications - used to be a legal secretary. Still do a lot of typing every day - due to my addiction to the net, and in particular Madmums ofcourse! lol
It's a handy skill to have, Lynie - especially when you've got kids!!
