Sorry I'm so late posting about this:

On wednesday Tsena took me and all 3 boys to Sacerwell farm near peterborough and we had an amazing day out. Its a brilliant farm and you can feed the animals. Because of the time of year you can also feed the baby lambs with their bottles of milk. There is also somewhere where you can hold small animals - like guinea pigs and baby chicks.

Needless to say the kids had an absolute ball - as did us mummies. We were both stuggling with the SPD a bit so we hobbled round and probably looked a right pair but it was worth it. And Kieran (Zanys eldest ds aged 6) and Eds (my ds aged nearly 3) didnt stop talking all the way home whilst Kristian (Zanys youngest ds aged nearly 2) slept all the way home!

We fed cows, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, goats, and baby sheep. We also petted the horses, donkey, pigs etc. There was farm machinary (which made eds day) and also indoor play areas with ride on tractors - and an outdoor park.

I forgot my camera (Grrrrrr!) but had my phone so here are some photos of our fantastic day out!

There are loads more pics but I'll stop there!!!

So thanks for a fab day mate!

Luckly madz had her phone trigger happy as when ever i got mine out my lo (krisitan) decided he wanted to go this way - opposite direction of course or wanted to stroke with fingers out at the goats!! So i was more a case of head less chicken! lol

It was a long day we left at 11 and got there around mid day saw the young animals and small ones first like the chicks, peacock etc then had a spot of lunch.

Fed the lambs (well the kids did) and held the baby chick and guinea pig. Then we did the larger animals! Cows, goats, horses, played pooh sticks etc... then played inside for a bit on toy tractors over bridges etc and then headed out side for the wooden play centre and then hit the road as it was 4.30 and we didn't want to sit on the a1 or a14 in rush hr! lol

It was a great day one that we shall have to repeat in the summer when it's warmer and take a picnic!

Glad you all had a lovely day - the photos are fab! We took Cameron to Church Farm which is quite close to us a couple of times last summer - it's a great day out.

xxx

The kids look like had a blast there... lovely photos.
Its really nice to be able to feed and hold the animals, makes it so much more fun to be hands on doesnt it?
Im glad you both had a great family day out together, enjoying yourselves.

We've been to Sacrewell a few times and really like it there. Its a bit expensive though, but great to hold the animals and feed the lambs. Haven't been this year yet but may try and get there if I can find the money! Glad you had a great day!
