Awww hun you'll be fine, just remember if your fingers turn white loosen up the grip on the steering wheel, it won't be long before your bombing around at 60 then having to slow down to 30 and saying it doesn't feel like your even moving!
Good luck, ignore everyone else on the road within reason..... just remeber they where all learners once.

Woo-hoo, I'm back and it was terrifying. We had a long chat about all the ins/outs of the car etc and then I got to drive. Must have drove about 10 miles, was going round quite tight bends, 1 roundabout and 3 junctions and then a single track road on the way home !!
I was steering a bit far to the left and lost 3rd gear at one point but apart from that, it was great and I'm going again next Sat at 10 am.

Not bad, for your first lesson in how many years now Hazy. Sounds like you enjoyed it too, and are looking forward to next Saturday. You'll soon get the hang of it and will be accidentaly exceeding the speed limit in no time lol Well Done! x-x-x
