Hey,

After having the accident back in Jan i have decided to try and get some more awareness about car seat safety into parents and relatives! It is only because of our properly fitted and adjusted car seats that i still have 2 healthy living children. Without them, Liam for sure would have passed on to the other side.

I have put together a montage of the damage our car sustained in the accident, and though it may be graphic, it has the shock factor that will make people think again about risking their children's lives.

I would appreciate any feedback on the montage, which i am also putting on my Facebook account for all to see. It isn't very long and i am still working on it, and emotional but i think it is helping myself to heal somehow!

Sam, that certainly gets the message across loud and clear hun.
I've seen so many children not even in car searts still.. let alone in badly fitted ones.
Your montage is a very powerful, unfortunate reminder of what could have happened to your 2 beautiful little one's. I'm so so glad you were sensible and had them properly restrained!
Well Done Sam, it must be really hard and emotional for you to do this.. but if that doesn't make people think twice, God help them.

Sam it really does make you realise and this will really shock you DH and I were driving to a near by town this morning and got stuck in stand still road works only to realise the car in front had 6 people in it 2 adults in the front 1 adult in the back along with 3 children 2 never even had car seats and couldnt have been more than 6/8 and the 3rd was sitting UNBELTED on the adults lap and was also allowed to LEAN FORWARD OVER THE DRIVER this really made me cross . You were very lucky that your children have parents who fitted there car seats properly im so pleased that you all came away unscathed . WELL DONE FOR TRYING TO MAKE MORE PEOPLE AWARE i think its a wonderful thing to do .

Oh and i think its a very good montague x

Blimey, if there was ever a good message to have the kids fitted in properly, that vid is definately it.

Andy fitted Adams chair and he spent ages yanking it and pushing it until the car was rocking with the force but not the chair.

Sam i think it's great that your using own your experience and putting it to such a good and powerful message. True stories and real life images like you have created make all the difference from capturing the persons attention or not.

Well done hun, i hope this helps you work though your pain and tourmoil too.

Hugs hun xxx
