Tom's been dry during the day for several months now. He still has his really weird phobia about doing a number two on the potty/toilet, but he's not messy because he always insists on swapping his pants for a pull-up when he needs to go.
Last night was a revelation. Tom had woken up, found he'd wee'd in his pull-up, didn't like it so went into the spare room to find a pull-up.
He'd managed to change into a clean one and put himself back to bed without any help from me.
I would like to get him more settled first, especially after being with his daddy for a week (I'd found out that Tom had pooed himself several times last week which is unlike him so I've put it down to him being a little unsettled), and then I'll give the nighttime potty training a go.
Tackle that and then have a bash at the number twos situation! Small steps I say - lolol

Awww bless him hun, i don't blame him for being unsettled, after all everyone has slightly different parenting styles etc.
Well done Tom, you really are a big boy!
He'll crack the toilet and poo in time hun he's doing really well and you should be proud of yourself, he's obviously very comfortable at home with you x

I think I'm going to start nighttime p/t Tom over the weekend.
Tom insists on going to bed nappy-less now. Even if I manage to get one on him within seconds of leaving the room he's torn it off. I'm defintely losing this battle but it's one I don't mind him winning.
If he wees he wakes and takes it off.
Besides, it's not pleasant waking up to find a trail of soggy nappies dotted around the house.
So I guess I'll have to fish out mattress protector. It only seems like yesterday I was going through all this with his brother. At least the weather's nice and warm - he's been kicking the duvet off too. I used to hate having to wash duvets-lol
