Ok, I decided I would try Sportcacus's head, and if that went wrong I;d try the airship, and if that went wrong I'd buy a topper from ebay rofl

Ive started the face today, and Ive not got time to finish before I go out... and I wont start again tomorrow.. its good enough to know how its panning out pmsl Personally I think its not bad, needs tidying up, I'd be more careful with the jam etc when I do the real one pmsl Im not sure how to do the eyes yet, hopefully I'll have a big idea eventually pmsl. Also not sure what colour to do the face. The colour you see on the lips is the colour I bought for the face buts its way to bold - oh ideas there would be gratefully received lol..

So.. you are my judges, what do you think? Is it good enough, or should I attempt the airship?

awww hun it looks good...... i'm cheating this year and not making my own cakes (first year for 5years) just can't face it with all the food etc and housework this year!

Hun you said jam?? is that the lips? My not use strawberry laces..... ?

As for the eyes.... how about the icing writing pens...... a semi circle dome, with a line at the bottom and a choc button for the pupil?

I think it's brill hun!

The lips are icing, painted with pink food colouring. I'll give the eye thing a go thank you! Im just off to the shop to buy a mix of food colourings and Im going to create a skin colour if I can omsl.. OMG Im mad. My friend has already cut a chunk out of the cake pmsl... he said it was very nice woohoo lol...

This is the cake with the all important goggles (I really cant believe I forgot lol good job Joshua is keeping me on my toes lol)

 Its a bit yellowy sorry Im being lazy and sending the one I took with my phone lol Not like I could take one with my camera its got a chunk missing rofl but its a longer process transfering camera photos to madmums lol

Chris for the skin do it as you would normally and use a piece of bounty or kitchen towel (that won't fall apart) and dab it in over the white icing as that way you can get a pale ish skin colour and it will look all textured too!

if too much pink/red goes onto the icing at first use a clean sheet and dab away the excess or do it on a piece of paper first for a couple of times........ hth
