How are you today,doll? That's such a shame that you can't get an appointment immediately - keep trying though, incase there is a cancellation...and also to make them see that this is urgent. I hope you get seen quickly, and get the help you need. We are all here if you need to talk.

Thanks for asking after me today.

After a lot and I mean a lot of faffing about, I finally managed to get to have an over the phone consult with my GP. It's definately clinical depression and my GP is phoning down a prescription of anti-dees for me so I just need to go and collect them from the chemist and come home again.

I'm not going back on Fluoxitene cos they made me eat virtually non-stop.

I am shaking like mad a t the thought of having to get on the bus, sit on it for 20 mins and then go round the street and get the bus home, but I have to do this.

awwww hun good luck i personnally can't do buses, i hope by taking it step by step that you'll find away to keep plodding to get from a to b.

I'm glad the doc has been able to get you sorted out with some form of medication. you are doing so well it must have been hard to keep going when it felt like all the walls and barriers where up.... hugs hun x

What have you been put on this time? I didnt get on with the first few sets of anti ds i tried either but find the ones my mum and i both take now.

Awwww, how magic are all of you ?

I'm back and it was horrible but I did it ! I'm going to start on Sertraline tonight and the GP said over the phone that if I can manage it she would like to see me in 2 weeks but if I can't get there, she will do another on phone consult and arrange for me to see a counsellor as well.

I take sertraline too babe - so does my mum.

Its been a big help to me in the past as it helps with anxiety as well as depression.

I'm really proud of you and I hope that doesnt sound patronising.

That is fantastic news, you have done so well, a bus journey when yoy are feeling like this is such a massive hurdle but its the start now, you can turn the corner now and start feeling like you, hope they work quickly for you.
