This morning was the worst ever. So much for feeling better eh ?

I have been crying on/off most of today and I know I have no choice but to go and get some anti d meds cos I can't cope with these feelings anymore by myself. Called the Health Centre, explained that I REALLY have to see someone soon as and was told it will be the end of next week !!

Well, that just set me off in tears again. I finally admit I can't cope without meds and I can't get to see the Dr. I feel like all the doors I come to just now, are being slammed shut.

I will be calling up at 8.30 am tomorrow so hopefully I'll get in.

I just don't want to be like this anymore.

Don't your dr's do emergency apponitments, i think this would qualify as an emergency, if not go to the surgery and refuse to leave until you see someone.

That is the only system they have for getting in, emergency or not. So silly but that's how they work here.

I would love to be able to go and refuse to budge, but it's going to be a massive achievement just getting there and waiting to be seen. I'll be panicing like mad by then.

Fingers crossed Hazy, that you will be able to get seen as soon as possible.. surely there must be one doctor avaliable for you to see before the end of next week, that just stupid!
I'm really sorry that your feeling so bad just lately.
I'm not sure what else to say apart from hang on in there, you'll be sorted out soon and then things hopefully will start to feel better.
Big hugs to you chick.

Love Amanda

Oh honey I am so sorry!
I know how it feel to make that big step to decide you need help - I cant imagine how it much feel to have that thrown back at you. Keep calling and keep explaining - hopefully you will get a cancellation on a sympathetic receptionist. I'm very lucky that my surgery always has lots of emergency appointments available.
Is it sunny there? If so wrap up warm if needed and get out of the house, go for a short walk or sit in the garden, whatever you can - but the sun is a big help to me when I feel low (the old SAD).
As you know I am also feeling very low at the moment so I sympathise completely - I sometimes wonder where all the tears come from - but it really will get better and I congratulate you on taking the step to asking for help.
I'm always here if you need to talk.

I hope they will get you in sooner...but meantime, hope you get through this hard time. Is there anything or activities you can do to pass the time and relieve some emotions out?.... I found journaling and doing crafts (making cards etc) really makes me get mind off things that makes me overwhelmed.

You are doing such a positive thing by being determined to be seen by the doc and getting meds to help.  Depression is really common so please don't stress about seeing the doctor as he'll have seen it all before.  Remember it's a chemical imbalance in the brain and the meds will help sort that out.

You'll get through this and feel better again- you really will.

Big hugs,
xxxx
