I had a scan last week (30 week scan) and I was told the baby was 4 lbs 14 ozs already which was a good size baby, tbh I was a bit in shock.....any website I have looked up they say the baby should only be 2 and half to 3 lbs.

Crips I wonder am I in for a 10 lb'er.

I asked the doc and he seems to think the baby will onlt be around 8 to 9 lbs.

Any of you remember the weight of their baby at 30 weeks.....I think Rachel was only 3 lbs.

plus we fould out the sex but it's a secret, lol.

No idea how much Ben was at that 'age' but I know I was told by midwives that he was about 7lb+ at about 36 weeks. He was 6lb 9 born! So I wouldn't worry too much hunny!

I dont remember at what stage it was, but I do remember my MW telling me that the baby was measuring about 6lbs, and that I should prepare myself for a 10-11lb baby! As if I didn't have enough worries lol.. Joshua finally popped out 39+6 and weighed a perfect 7lb 1oz .. phew lol

And Martha.... you cant keep secrets from us, its just not fair, nor right. I mean erm.. I think you really should tell us! We wont tell anyone hehe

Aw Martha.....spill!!!

I was told Cameron was going to be a 'big boy'........and he weighed 5lb14 at 37 weeks +! I've never had a scan a 30 weeks, so I've never known their weights at that stage.

xxx

I too was told by one MW that my DD would probably be around 9 lb around 34 weeks. However she was a nice healthy 7lb 4oz born at 39 weeks.

The only weight's I can remember are their birth weights.

I was alway told mine were going to be big babies one was 8lb 14 and the other was 8lb 12 so not as big as the 9-10lb they told me i was having.

I wouldn't worry big babies are apparently easier to delivery - not sure why though lol
