You just would not believe the bad luck we've had with electrical appliances since the end of last year. Since the beginning of January we've replaced

1)washing machine(jan)

2)fridge freezer(jan)

3)iron(feb)

4)tumble dryer (last month)

5)lawnmower(arrived last week)

6)dvd player (March)

7)television (arrived last week)

8)dishwasher(waiting for new one to be delivered in next week)

Now my iron is leaking, and only one side of my 4 slice toaster is working!!! I despair! lol By the way, none of these items were particularly old, apart from the dishwasher

We could really have done without having to replace everything this year - especially since the baby is coming, and we had to buy a people carrier too). I live in hope that we are going to hit a luckier period very soon!!

xxx

Have you moved? Is this comman for any of you?

I only ask because it sounds like there is some kind of electrical charge where you are. Or, and I know this sounds odd, that one of you have a strong charge. I know I do - fax machines and photocopiers and often printers crash as soon as I am near them. Some people are so bad they can short fuse whole buildings.

I hope it is just bad luck though!

Sorry just read through that and it makes no sense and I cant think of the name of the phenomena. Oops.

Hun i'd ask an electrician to come in and test the place, they can check for ampage and fluctuations.....

I agree something doesn't sound right etc...... i'd definatly ask around.

I was going to ask the same as Madz. Does sound like your electrics are a bit odd.

I think its just sod's law lololol
Things always happen at the worst possible time ie; buying your little Adam's neccesities (sp)!
But all of those things packing up within the space of a few months, could be more than just a coincidence.
Fingers crossed nothing else decides to give up the ghost.
