Scrub damp off the walls? Why didn't I think of that for my holiday Monday- you have all the fun Sam.
(Quick run out the door- jump on the fast train to Glasgow Central- I'll meet you there, no one needs to know- we'll do a Thelma and Louise stylee road trip round the country in my Venga Bus and escape the housework for a while....)
Come to think of it, scrap that idea- petrol is a bit hard to come by up here at the moment....

I'll bring the petrol, no shortage here and our car is diesel.... We did think about going away but that's as far as it got because I flatly refuse to drive anywhere other than into the local town on a bank holiday. The bad thing about living on the M5 corridor is everyone seems to want to head south for some odd reason at the weekends....
